How Much Does It Cost to Install a Level 2 EV Charger in Vancouver?
Most Level 2 EV charger installations range between $3,000–$4,500, depending on panel capacity, charger location, and wiring distance.
Homes requiring electrical upgrades or long wiring runs may cost more. A home assessment allows us to determine the safest and most efficient setup.
Can my electrical panel support a Level 2 EV charger?
Many Vancouver homes have limited electrical capacity, but in many cases we can safely install a charger using dynamic energy management without upgrading the panel.
We perform a load calculation to determine the safest solution.
What Is Energy Management for EV Chargers?
Energy management is a system that automatically adjusts EV charger power draw to ensure your home’s electrical system capacity is never exceeded.
It often eliminates the need for a service upgrade for safe Level 2 charging.
Do I need a permit to install an EV charger?
Yes. EV charger installations require an electrical permit and inspection to ensure the installation meets Canadian Electrical Code and local standards.

Do you install Tesla chargers?
Yes. We install Tesla Wall Connectors as well as other Level 2 EV charging equipment.

We review your electrical panel, parking location, and home electrical capacity to determine the best installation plan.
After submitting the assessment form we may request photos of your panel, parking area, and additional info if required.
Are EV charger installations eligible for rebates in BC?
Some EV charger installations may qualify for provincial or utility rebates, depending on the charger type, electrical setup, and current incentive programs.
Rebate programs change frequently, so during your assessment we’ll review whether your installation may qualify and ensure the installation meets the necessary requirements.
